Bath Philharmonia School Voices Project 2024

Last weekend, the music department took 10 year 8 pupils to perform with Bath Philharmonia as part of their School Voices Project 2024. All 12 secondary schools in Bath came together to form the creative choir Harmony Rising. The 120 strong choir performed on Friday evening at Bath Abbey as part of Bath Festival's Party in the City singing 4 songs that pupils had written entirely themselves. They were given further opportunity to perform on Saturday evening at The Forum together with Bath Philharmonia and the Royal Marines School of Music. 

Pupils showed creativity and open-mindedness in the song writing sessions, hard work and resilience during the long rehearsals, dedication and commitment to memorising the music at home and professionalism and decorum during the performances. Overall they represented Ralph Allen School in a way that would make our whole school community proud. Well done Harmony Rising!
