Home School Communication

The aim of the protocol is to enable all stakeholders to communicate effectively and in a respectful manner; this includes students, parents and other members of the wider community. Ralph Allen School aims to ensure that communications between all members of the school community are clear, professional, timely and appropriate.

Effective communication is much more than the exchange of information; it involves the management of relationships, expectations and the need to involve people. Communication is as much about attitude and behaviour as it is about the message.

In addition, the school has a duty of care to its students, parents and importantly its employees that they work in a safe environment and mitigate any risks associated with their health and wellbeing.
